• Model & showroom manager: 1984-88-"Climax" showroom - Dallas Apparel Mart-highlights in wholesale- modeling with Vanna White & selling to Neiman Marcus!
• Retail management: 1985-87 "Razzberries" Boutique, Richardson, Texas (The Building is a mini-Razzberries!)
• Corporate supervisor: 1988 - Jillian Leigh Corp., Austin, Texas - in charge of 8 stores in 8 cities
• Children's wear designer: 1990-92 for" Pazazz" in Gravette; designed 15 seasons of the"Showbiz" line, from design to drafting and grading patterns
• Retailer: Aug. 30,1991 - Opened "The Building"- to bring "city" clothes to the country!

The Story of The Building

     In 1990, I was designing children's wear at a factory in Gravette when I asked my Daddy if I could borrow his building to use as a clothing store. Never one to say no to his baby girl, his response was, "What will you call it?"
      I thought for a moment and said , "I guess I'll call it The Building, since that's what our family has called it for nearly twenty years."
     The Building was born.
